With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, James Rodriguez has built a career rooted in expertise, trust, and a deep commitment to the community. As Vice President of Commercial Lending at PB&T Bank’s Pueblo Main Branch, James brings a wealth of knowledge across several industries in financial services be that with retail banking, mortgage lending, credit, and now commercial and construction lending.

In his role, James works closely with local businesses to structure lending solutions that fuel growth and long-term success. His strong background in financial negotiation, client service, and relationship management has made him a valued advisor—not just a lender—to many in the region’s business community.

A proud Pueblo native, James is deeply connected to the city he serves. After graduating from South High School and Colorado State University Pueblo, he committed himself not only to a career in finance but to be active in community involvement. James currently serves as Board President for Junior Achievement, Vice President of local A.C.E board for education, and a member of CSU-Pueblo’s Family Advisory Board.

James’s professional success is matched by his personal dedication to family and community. He credits his wife for being his unwavering support through every challenge and triumph. From the moment they met, his wife has been by his side, encouraging him to grow and push beyond limits—both in his career and in life. 

Their two daughters, bring immeasurable joy and meaning to his life. Watching them grow, laugh, and navigate the world with curiosity and enthusiasm is a privilege James cherishes every day. He is deeply grateful for the small moments with them—whether it’s family adventures, quiet evenings, or the spontaneous bursts of joy that come with being a parent.

Outside of work, James enjoys golfing, gaming, and passionately cheering on Colorado’s sports teams—including the Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, and yes, even the Rockies.
